The IHSAA came out with a new Varsity Football schedule for schools last week. Our Homecoming events will now be the week of Sept. 14th, with the football game on Sept. 18. I apologize for this, but we could not control our schedule.

Reminder: The Clarke Food Pantry will be handing out groceries today from 4-5. This is open to any Clarke family. Use the new road to enter and go to the Central Office parking lot for curbside pick-up.

Fall Team Store orders must be placed by 11:59 tonight! Middle and High School fall activities are scheduled to begin this fall.

The State released guidelines for fall sports this week. The Clarke Activities Department will be meeting with local public health and SCC Athletic Directors this next week to determine exactly how this will look for Clarke and the SCC.
I'm encouraging all students (7-12) who would like to participate in fall sports, to register through the FamilyID online system. This allows us to know who is wanting to play and gives us contact information to share with coaches. Coaches will then get in contact with those that have registered to share information about the upcoming season.
High school practices will will begin on August 10th. Middle school practices will begin once school has started.

The IHSAA released new schedules this past Friday. This is our current schedule. Stay tuned for more updates.

We should be receiving guidance from the state this week regarding how Middle School sports might look this fall. We will inform everyone when we get this information as to the guidelines, which will also include practice information.

Reminder: The Clarke Food Pantry will be giving out boxes of groceries at the Pantry today from 4-5. This is curbside service of a pre-packed supply of food. Open to any Clarke student and their family. Pantry is located at central office building.

Due to current conditions with COVID, the Clarke Youth Football program (elementary) will not participate in the league this fall. Many other teams are not participating. If conditions improve, we hope to offer something later.

Reminder that the Clarke Food Pantry will be offering curbside pick up today from 4-5. Each family will receive a pre-packed supply of groceries. Use the new road, Seminole Way, to reach the Central parking lot.

As a result of the replacement of the driveway around the middle/high school, the driveway is closed at the stop sign near the softball field, completely around to the north entrance of the district office. To access the middle/high school and district office, you must enter on the new Seminole Way.

If you have not registered your child for the 2020-2021 school year, please go through your Infinite Campus Portal to register (parent access link at clarke.k12.ia.us). Thank you!

Following their 3-2 win over Centerville on Wednesday, the Clarke softball team advances to 2nd round Friday at 7pm against Albia. See you in Albia!!

We are a go for Regional Softball tonight starting at 7pm. Additional rain could change that.
