Dear Teachers and Family Members at the Clarke Elementary:
My name is Kathleen Kyzar and I am a research consultant working with family engagement leaders at the Iowa Department of Education and the ASK Resource Center. I am also an education professor at Texas Christian University (TCU).
Two weeks ago, I sent an e-mail about a survey I am conducting on family and teacher collaboration. The results will help inform family-school partnership practices in Iowa.
This e-mail is simply a reminder to complete the survey at your earliest convenience, if you have not done so already. It should take about 20 minutes. To be eligible, you need to be a current teacher or parent/family member of a student at the Early Learning Center. Participation is completely voluntary and your answers will be anonymous.

The survey will be open until Wednesday, March 13th.
Risks include loss of confidentiality and some questions on the survey ask you to share personal information. To minimize these risks, the information you provide is anonymous and collected using a secure server. A school code will be linked with your data, but the identifying information for that code will be kept separate from the data. Finally, you can skip any questions you don’t want to answer or stop the survey entirely.

Está invitado a participar en un estudio de investigación. Para participar, tiene que ser padre de un estudiante de edad primaria o maestro certificado/licenciado en una escuela primaria.
